Calling all ARTIST! This year we are hosting AUDITIONS for the 21st Annual Malcolm X Festival! Auditions will take place March 5 & 12, 2010 from 12-4 pm Georgia State University @ the University Center, RM 225, 2nd floor next to the Cinefest
There are only a few slots available, so please come ready to bring your best performance. Performers are asked to audition one song per act. Artist may audition with C.D., but are not required. Bands, please consider the nature of this audition will not accomodate the full set up of band instruments / generators / or amplifiers. (Due to this, bands are allowed to bring video or audio footage to the audition).
The Malcolm X Festival is open to all poets, dancers, rappers, singers, etc. and is a FAMILY event, so please, whatever your talent, KEEP IT CLEAN, no curse or obscene language.
Cost of auditions is a one time fee of $20 (flat rate for all artist) and all artist are asked to please come early for sign up!
We extend an invitation for you to participate with us at our 21st Annual Malcolm X Festival Saturday, May 22, 2010. We realize that your support is essential in making this a successful event. And we support your practice of self-determination and self-reliance as an entrepreneur.
Non-food vendors fee: $100.00
Food vendors fee: $200.00
Set-up begins on site at 8:00 am Saturday morning. Spaces are 10 X 10 feet and are not pre-assigned. No tables, chairs nor electricity will be provided. Roaming vendors are not allowed.
You may pre-register by clicking on the link "Donate" under "Purchase Vending Space" or do so the morning of the event before setting up. Cash only accepted.
